The foundation stone laying ceremony of the Water System project of UCIL was held on 10 August 2008 at Tummalapalle, Andhra Pradesh, in the presence of Dr. Anil Kakodkar, Chairman, Atomic Energy Commission & Secretary, Department of Atomic Energy, Government of India, Mr Sanjiv Paul, Managing Director, JUSCO, senior executives from UCIL and JUSCO.

UCIL project is yet another feather in JUSCO’s cap whose efforts in water sector has been recognised internationally by Global Water Intelligence (GWI), United Kingdom and Asia Water, Malaysia. JUSCO has proved both the adages right by acquiring landmark water projects across the Country.
