Power Distribution Services
 The Power Services
Division of JUSCO procures and distributes electricity
to all categories of consumers in the Tata Steel Command
area (Jamshedpur). Key suppliers of electricity are Tata
Power Company (Jojobera) and Damodar Valley Corporation.
 From procurement to distribution and billing, an
integrated service is provided to the broad spectrum of
over 60,000 customers. A testimony of our efficiency is
the fact that while the national average consumption of
electricity is 530 KWH/person/year, in Jamshedpur,
the average is 800 KWH and is growing at 4-5% per
annum.
All our
services and utilities are aligned with
The
Electricity Act-2003 and conform to the standards of
ISO-14001 (Environmental Management System). JUSCO
