There is an expected power
requirement growth for industrial and residential
requirements in areas like Golmuri, Agrico, Bhalubasa,
Sitaramdera, Sidhgora and Baridih etc in the eastern
part of Jamshedpur in the next few years. The existing
transformers at Tinplate Area sub-station which cater to
this area are loaded upto their optimum capacity and are
not in a position to cater to this increased demand.
