Advertisement for Officer Trainee for JUSCO Employee Wards - 2018 : Ref J/HRIR/ 386 /18

JUSCO invites applications for Officer Trainee from wards of employees. Candidates meeting the following criteria can apply:


Officer Trainee

No. of positions

Civil : Upto fifteen(15)
Electrical: Upto six(6)
Mechanical: Upto four(4)


  1. Employees Wards: Son / Daughter / Son-in-law (in case the employee has no son) / Daughter-in-law
  2. Spouse of Employees

Note: Employee Wards of ex - employees are also included. Wards of those who have availed of Early Separation Scheme / Employees' Family Benefit Scheme /  Medical Separation Scheme in lieu of employment are also eligible.

Minimum Educational

Employee Wards who have completed full time BE / B Tech / B Sc. (Engg.) in Civil / Electrical / Mechanical Steams from AICTE recognized institutes are eligible to apply.

The candidate must have secured 55% marks in aggregate in the qualifying exam, as on the last date of the application.

Only full (day) time courses will be considered. Candidates with Part Time / Correspondence / Distance Learning will not be eligible.


The candidate should have been born on or after 1st April 1988 .(Should not be more than 30 years of age as on 1st April  2018 .)

Other Guidelines

  1. Those wards who are currently employed (On permanent Payroll) in JUSCO (OPR / Non OPR) will not be considered.
  2. Eligible employee wards, who are currently employed with Tata Group Company / Subsidiaries/ Associate Company will need to furnish an NOC from the present employer before being considered for employment in JUSCO. The NOC will have to be produced before the candidate is called for the interview.
  3. All selected candidates will have to be declared medically fit as per company's medical fitness standards and suitability to the job, before their appointment.
  4. PWD(People with disability) candidates are encouraged to apply, provided all other criteria are met.
  5. All selected candidate will undergo Background Verification as per company's standard, before their appointment.
  6. The placement of those selected could be at any location where the company has its operations.
  7. No reimbursement related to the travel will be made to the candidates in this process.
  8. Candidate who are found ineligible as per the laid down criteria at any stage of selection process will be immediately disqualified from further selection process. 

Selection Method

Eligible candidates will have to appear for Written Test. It will consist of Aptitude test (Multiple Choice Questions) and Domain Test (Multiple Choice Questions). Candidates qualifying in the Written Test will undergo a Panel Interview process.

Selected candidates will be appointed as Officer Trainee and will undergo training for a period of one year during which they will be paid a stipend of Rs 20000.00 per month. Their performance will be evaluated during training and on successful completion of training they will be appointed as Asst. Manager Level JM 13.

Position Junior Engineer
Eligibility Full time Diploma in Civil/Mechanical Engg. With 3 years relevant work experience in Architectural/Structural
Pay Scale Grade JS2  Rs 1150-430-20150 plus DA and applicable allowances, LTC & Annual Bonus as per Company norms.
Age Not  more than 40 years on date of application.
