Economic growth in India is constrained by a lack of available infrastructure which is forcing industry to explore private sector participation in the speedy development of adequate infrastructure. By virtue of being a comprehensive infrastructure solutions provider, the Company has enormous opportunities ahead. It has already started to make its presence felt in the Water services sector through acquisition of businesses at Muzaffarpur in Bihar, Haldia and Kolkata in West Bengal and Bhopal in Madhya Pradesh and in Power services sector by obtaining a distribution license for Saraikela-Kharsawan district as a second distributor of power. The Company is committed to become a leading national player for supplying high quality infrastructure services in the areas of water and power.

While the Company remains focused on providing services that match the needs and expectations of its customers, it will continuously endeavour to become a role model in promoting and creating sustainable development through protection and preservation of ecosystems.

The Company has carried forward the legacy of the Tata Steel by focusing on improving the quality of life of the communities it serves through social responsibility initiatives. A noteworthy endeavour has been its efficiency in managing water resources, thereby enhancing access to safe potable water to the poor.
